For sale is a vintage 1960 Ludwig Trans Badge 6.5×15 School Festival in Gold Sparkle with Nickel hardware. This snare is super clean and in excellent condition. Tunes and plays superb. Features nickel WFL throw and butt plate. Date stamped SEP 23 1960. Transition Ludwig badge. Very minor oxidation on the nickel. Nickel over brass hoops. Only non-original parts are the heads, tension rods and snare wires with ropes (newer PureSound wires).
