For sale is an absolutely beautiful Vintage 1952-53 Leedy & Ludwig Nite Club Outfit 13/16/24 Drum Set in Black Diamond Pearl with matching 6.5×14 Broadway snare drum in excellent shape. Shells are in great condition and in-round with nice original factory edges and original white interiors. Black Diamond Pearl wrap is tight and glossy with minimal wear. Chrome hardware in good shape with some oxidation in spots. Chrome over brass hoops. Bass drum cymbal arm mounts appear stripped and are missing the wingscrews. Snare has replacement throw knob. Bottom floor tom hoop clips and tension rods are not original. Original calf heads on bass drum and floor tom. 13 tom features Ludwig Play On Plastic heads date stamped SEP 1959. 13 shell date stamp of 5211 (November of 1952), 16 and 24 shells date stamps of 5308 (August of 1953). No date stamp present in snare. Snare stand not included. A head-turner of a kit with that superb Leedy & Ludwig tone!
