For sale is a Vintage Early 1960s Pre-Serial Ludwig 20″ Club Date Bass Drum in Sky Blue Pearl in very nice players shape. Shell is in-round with decent original bearing edges and clear maple interior. No datestamp present. No tom mount holes – only factory drilled for a telescopic cymbal arm. Nickel hardware has some oxidation, pitting and wear. Features four telescoping spurs, not sure if second rear set is factory due to slight hole placement difference. Wrap has minimal fade and is tight and glossy. Seams are nice and tight. One hoop has a large patch of modern Sky Blue Pearl inlay. Pre-serial keystone badge. Overall a great players bass drum!
