For sale is a nice Vintage 1965 Slingerland Shelbyville Snare in Silver Sparkle. These snares were only made in Shebyville for two years. Shell is in-round with nice original bearing edges and oak re-rings. Chrome hardware with chrome over brass hoops in decent shape. Wrap is clean and tight with minimal fading. Shelbyville badge with serial 15736. Black datestamp of DEC 29 1965. Original strainer was replaced at some point with an MIJ throw – one open hole present from original throw. Overall a nice drum!
