For sale is a beautiful Vintage 1960s Gretsch Round Badge 13/16/22 Drum Set in Champagne Sparkle in good players shape. Shells are in good condition and in-round with original factory edges. 22 interior was painted a blue then white at some point, with a little overspray on the edges as shown. 13 tom has a handful of interior edge chips as shown, but does not affect sound. Champagne Sparkle wrap is tight and glossy with scuffs here and there. Corner patch of wrap as shown near one bass drum seam. 16 has two extra holes that are plugged as shown. 22 has 2 extra holes from rail being moved at one point, as well as 2 additional holes from a Gretsch diamond plate mount as shown. Bass drum hoop inlays not original. Chrome hardware in decent shape with some wear in spots. Chrome over brass hoops on toms. Original paper tag present in 16 only as shown. Needs new heads – heads on 13 and 16 a slightly snug fit, heads on 22 very, very tight and will require slightly oversized heads – this is common with Gretsch drums from this era. Not a perfect kit but a great looking players kit for a great deal!
