For sale is a stunning Vintage 1953 Gretsch Renown Separate Tension Snare Drum in Blue Lacquer in great players shape. 6.5″ x 14″ three ply shell is in-round with original factory edges. No mods, issues or extra holes. Lacquer is spotting and checked as shown in photos. A fair share of wear and pitting on the hardware. Date stamp of DEC 2 1953 present. Looks all original down to the calf heads and snare wires (ropes replaced). Overall a real gem of a snare to add to any collection.
