For sale is an absolutely incredible Vintage 1939 Leedy Broadway Parallel Snare Drum in Black Diamond Pearl in near mint shape. Drum appears to be 100% original down to the heads. 6.5″x14″ three ply shell is in-round with very nice original factory edges. Wrap is tight, glossy and in top condition. No mods, issues or extra holes. Very, very minor wear on the chrome hardware as shown – mostly on the muffler knob. Features the engraved stick chopper chrome over brass hoops. Black date stamp of 3906 (June of 1939) present. A time capsule of a snare drum, featuring the most hard to find third generation parallel strainer set up, in remarkable shape. A stunner all around and a crown jewel of any collection.
