  • 1960s Ludwig Club Date Drum Set in Black Lacquer

     

    For sale is a classy Vintage 1960s Ludwig Club Date Drum Set in Black Lacquer in decent players shape. 12, 14, 20 sizes with 14 pioneer snare. Shells are in good condition and in-round with original factory edges. Black lacquer finish is decent but is very spidered, flaking and looks to have paint touch-ups. Bottom edge of 12 and resonant side of 20 have been painted black. Bass drum appears to have 2 plugged holes near badge from different rail location. Original white interior paint with apparent touch-ups. Nickel hardware is oxidized but in good shape. Nickel over brass hoops. Batter side bass hoop is a little warped but functional. New silver glass glitter inlays on both bass drum hoops. Nickel bass drum rail looks to be a vintage Gretsch with chrome L arm for mounted tom. Bass drum cymbal arm mount appears post-factory. Only date stamp found is in floor tom which is very faded or painted over and appears to read APR 13 1965. Keystone badge serial numbers are as follows: 14 pioneer snare 122710, 12 mounted tom 143892, 14 floor tom 144647 and 20 bass drum 141506. Could use new heads of your choice. Snare stand shown not included. Just a wonderful players kit with tons of class and tone!

  • 1964 Slingerland 14/22 Tri-Band Marcher Combo Kit

     

    For sale is a neat Vintage 1964 Slingerland 14/22 Tri-Band Marcher Combo Kit in Red/Silver sparkle. Sizes are a 10×14 snare and 12×22 bass drum. Shells are in great condition with original earing edges. Date stamps of SEP 64. Wrap is tight but does have some scuffs. Extra holes appear plugged from old marching hardware. Chrome hardware in good shape. Modern Ludwig throw on snare. Could benefit from better heads and snare wires. Bass drum serial of 215710, snare serial of 115854. Would make a cool little players kit! Snare stand not included.

  • 1950s Slingerland Student Model Radio King Snare Drum in Blue/Silver Duco

     

    For sale is a great Vintage 1950s Slingerland Student Model Radio King 5.5×14 Snare Drum in Blue/Silver Duco in good players shape. Three ply shell is in great condition and in-round with factory edges. Duco paint is in pretty good condition, with some flaking here and there which is typical. Nickel hardware is in decent shape. Flaking on the hoops which appear to possibly be chrome. Bottom hoop clips, top tensions rods and wires unoriginal. Three-point throw has the longer handle. Could use new heads. Overall a nice snare!

  • 1961 Ludwig School Festival 6.5×15 Snare Drum in Red/Silver/Red Sparkle

     

    For sale is a Vintage 1961 Ludwig School Festival 6.5×15 Snare Drum in Red/Silver/Red Sparkle in good players condition. Shell is in great condition, in-round with factory edges and interior paint. Barely readable faint black datestamp of XXX XX 1961. The wrap is tight with normal wear, minimal fade on the red and the silver has yellowed slightly. Nickel over brass hoops with a few dings. Nickel hardware has some oxidation and wear. Three locations of metal stamping of number 523 on top hoop, bottom hoop and one lug. Pre-serial keystone badge. No extra holes. Overall a great drum and an awesome sounding, booming snare!

  • Vintage Early 1950s Gretsch Dixieland 6×14 Snare Drum in Blue Sparkle

     

    For sale is a Vintage Early 1950s Gretsch Dixieland 6×14 Snare Drum in Blue Sparkle in good players condition. The harder-to-find 6×14 three ply shell in great condition and in-round with factory edges. No date stamp present on the clear interior. The wrap is original and tight with minimal fade. Some scratches here and there with a nickel-sized scratch/engraving below the throw area. Throw features the early hex knob and has a decent amount of play but functions. Chrome hardware has some oxidation, wear and some chrome loss. Overall a nice piece and great sounding snare!
