  • 1960s Pearl 13/16/20 Drum Set in Light Blue Pearl

For sale is a Vintage 1960s Pearl 13/16/20 Drum Set in Light Blue Pearl in playable shape. Shells are in decent condition and in-round with original factory edges besides some spots of filler on the 13 bottom. Light blue pearl wrap is decent but has some bubbling by lugs, damage on the 13 near mount and a split on the bass drum in front of the left spur mount as shown. Chrome hardware is very oxidized and flaking as shown – especially on the the tom hoops besides the 13 top as it is not original. Batter side bass hoop is mis-matched and missing inlay. Non-original claws, Ts and rods on bass drum batter side as well. Some tension rods on toms not original. Rubber feet on floor tom and bass drum spurs need replacing. Kit has been de-rusted and cleaned, but obviously has had it’s fair share of exposure to moisture which resulted in the cosmetic issues. Could use new heads of your choice. Definitely a cool looking and nice sounding playable kit, but with it’s fair share of blemishes.

Shells are in good condition and in-round with original factory edges. Black lacquer finish is decent but is very spidered, flaking and looks to have paint touch-ups. Original white interior paint with apparent touch-ups. Nickel hardware is oxidized but in good shape. Nickel over brass hoops. Batter side bass hoop is a little warped but functional. New silver glass glitter inlays on both bass drum hoops. Nickel bass drum rail looks to be a vintage Gretsch with chrome L arm for mounted tom. Bass drum cymbal arm mount appears post-factory.
